The Write-Up
Dr. Phillips Center anchors downtown Orlando's cultural life on Magnolia Avenue, a beautiful glass building guests praise first for its sound. Steinmetz Hall delivers acoustics guests call fantastic, the Walt Disney Theater hosts Broadway tours, and Judson's Live keeps things intimate with cabaret, while film-in-concert nights put an orchestra under the movie. The one headache is getting in and out: the center has no garage of its own and valet backs up on show nights, so plan the parking before the performance.
