Jazz Tastings is Maitland's intimate supper club on Lake Ave, a low-lit room where dinner and the show share the same table. The band runs through jazz, soul, and funk while Norwegian salmon, shrimp and grits, and bread pudding come out of a kitchen guests say punches past typical club fare. The vibe was everything, one diner wrote, and the room settles into an unhurried grown-folks night out. Weekend tables carry a food and beverage minimum plus an entertainment fee, useful to know before first-timers sit down.
