Family-run since 1999, Thai Place holds down a calm, cozy room in Winter Park Village where longtime regulars bring everyone they love. The cooking aims for the balance guests call the perfect blend of spice, sweet and savory: drunken noodles, Panang and green curries that melt into the jasmine rice, Tom Kha Gai and crisp fried potstickers. A lychee martini or mango sticky rice finishes things in the same unhurried register.
