The Write-Up
Tori Tori is a dark, low-lit izakaya on North Mills where the lights are low, the drinks are stiff and the grill stays busy. Yakitori skewers, yuzu pepper chicken wings and the blue crab and corn croquettes move from table to table, with highballs poured strong. It is walk-in only and packs out fast, so expect a line and settle in once you are through the door.

District Story
A district named for its own crossroads, platted as front porches in 1883 and remade twice by the people who moved in.
