Our honest take

The menu keeps one promise and keeps it well: proper fish and chips, crispy batter, plus shrimp and chicken for the table. The constraint is physical. There are only about 8 to 10 high-top seats inside, so at busy times you are eating outside or carrying it away. Treat it as a very good takeaway window with a famous name, and it delivers.
