The Write-Up
The upside-down house on International Drive has been a landmark since 1998, and inside it is all hands-on: a hurricane shack, an earthquake simulator, a bed of nails, a bubble lab, laser tag and a glow-in-the-dark ropes course past the inversion tunnel. Guests call it a cool, interactive experience, and the tax is the crowd, with peak waits and an admission price some find steep for the size. It earns its keep as the rainy-day answer for kids who need to touch everything.

Our honest take
The upside-down house has been an I-Drive landmark since 1998: hands-on exhibits, laser tag and a ropes course under one tilted roof. Crowds and peak waits are the tax, and some call admission high for the experience. Go at opening on a weekday and it is the corridor's best rainy-day answer for kids.
District Story
A hotel in the boondocks, a road paved after it and named to sound big and important, and the corridor that taught Orlando how to be a vacation.
