The Write-Up
Black Magic Pizza is the Milk District's punk rock pizza window on Bumby Avenue, playful in name and serious about dough, with basically no seating and parking that fills fast. The pies sit between Neapolitan and New Haven, slightly charred and hand tossed: the Dr. Pepperoni, the Hornets Nest with hot honey and soppressata, the Cheezus and the Tuscan Leather. Vegan pies get the same care as the classics, and regulars call the results some of the best pizza they have had anywhere.
