The Write-Up
SoDough Square serves Detroit-style pizza from its original Michigan Street shop, all crispy, cheesy edges over pillowy soft dough. The Detroit Rob City and the cheesy garlic bread lead a playful menu that runs to a coney dog, Gochujang wings and dough dots with Nutella, and the pepperoni comes properly cupped and oily. Detroit purists note the toppings ride on top of the cheese rather than under it, a quibble everyone else is too busy eating to make.
