Pierogi One is a cozy, family-run Polish bistro on Commodity Circle where the pierogi taste, as one guest put it, just like great-grandmother used to make. Varieties run from mushroom and sauerkraut to Philly cheesesteak, with vanilla cheese pierogi for dessert, plus potato pancakes, red borscht, kielbasa and a full Polish platter. The room is homey and welcoming, comfort food with genuine heritage in every folded edge.
