The Write-Up
Chicken Fire is a no-frills, welcoming hot chicken joint on East Colonial Drive, Nashville style with soul. Hand breaded tenders are fried to order and tossed in heat levels running from gentle Soulful to straight fire, and regulars advise ordering one level milder than you think you want. The Hot Box piles on crinkle fries, coleslaw and Soul Sauce, and guests swear one dip in that sauce makes everything better.
